Power down
Remove plastic module cover
Plug in upgrade module
Power back up
No need to change software card for regular builds (although it is a convenient time to bring it up to 2.1 if you are so inclined and your KSU supports it).
Back in service.

Possible issues: If the memory capacitor in the Flash is too weak, you may lose some programming during power down.
Make sure you have regular software and not a "Lite" version.
You will need to connect the 2nd port on the Flash to an available DN on the KSU punchblock and you will need to program its respective DN on the KSU for voicemail use.

Software upgrade not required, but V2.1 adds routes to the outcalling feature.
