ugrade bcm digital trunk to pri ni2

Hi, We have a bcm50 with a working regular T1 interface, we want to upgrade to a new PRI NI2 circuit. The new circuit is in place and ready to go. What am I changing on the bcm side? I know I have to change telephony resouces DTM-T1 to DTM-PRI, and then answer a few options that open up after that I think. Do I have to change anything else like on the line side, I see they are all set as E&M right now, do all lines associated with the PRI (95 thru 118) need to change to DID or something?

When you change the type to PRI it will automatically set all the channels for you. Make sure you are using destination codes and routing rather than Line Pool access codes. Also you will need to go in to each set and allow them access to PRI-A.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm pretty sure we are using destination codes and routing, I had to make changes in there before. I also see line pool A has all existing sets/extensions already assigned. So I am thinking all I have to change is the DTM-PRI? Is it that easy with the set up I have in place already?

Routing are set to use block A, and destination codes are set to use the routes for block A. All users are also in block A.

The options for it are PRI-A through PRI-F. It needs to match what is configured in the Lines (061-093). By default it automatically uses PRI-A. If it's a BCM50 or BCM450 then substitue PRI-A to BlocA, etc...

This is a bcm50. Lines 61 - 64 are set up as loop. Then it jumps to line 95, and that goes to 118, this is the exisitng T1 circuit that I am upgrading, which is set as E&M. So I guess when I change the telephony resources side, I will then have an option on this screen with the lines to change 95 thru 118 to PRI-A?
