Hi all
I was checking a tape to do a file restore and instead of type:-
Ufsrestore ivf /dev/rmt/0n
I typed:-
Ufsrestore rf /dev/rmt/0n
Initiating a restore of the root partition from different servers on to the root partition of the server I was logged onto. They are both sunfire V440 and the restore came up with a number of warnings until could do a control-c on it. Now every time I run the ufsrestore ivf /dev/rmt/0n command it just come back to the prompt. What I would like to know is if i’ve damaged the root partition at all, and if I have how can I tell?
Thanks for all your help
