ufsdump on AIX

Hello,

Hope someone can help me. I'm trying to restore some files from a dat tape which was written to using the ufsdump command. Wondering if there is anyway I can restore them in an AIX system. I've tried dd and pax but keep getting the invalid header name error. I can see what's on the tape using the restore command (restore -Tq -f/dev/rmt0 ) but get errors when I actually try to restore them.

Any help would be much appreciated.
