I am using crystal version 8.5.

The readme file that comes with uflcaps says:

Copy the enclosed DLL file to your \WINDOWS\CRYSTAL directory if you are
using it on your local (developer) machine. If you are distributing this
file for use with a compiled report or application, the DLL file needs to
be copied to your client's \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

Just a quick question which dll (see below) should I use?

UFLCAPS.DLL 16bit Created: Oct 20 1996 Size: 24.1KB
U2LCAPS.DLL 32bit Created: Oct.25 1996 Size: 37.5KB

It depends on your version of Windows. Older versions like 95 and 98 are 16 bit. Newer versions starting with Me are 32 bit.
