Ok gurus help me out here ive got 2 magix both 3.0 using centralized vmail. putting it together in the lab and i can dial across the network (t-1 crossover cable between switches) ring the proper extensions but im not seeing the caller info i.e. extension number of calling ext.
Its built as a pri dont remember having to do anything special to get this to work but memory fading in old age.
It doesnt pass it in either direction.

If you set up the T-1 as PRI, it will send the information. If you set the T-1 as regular T-1, it won't.

It is setup as a pri the thought of some of the people ive talked too is that its an issue with release 3.0 but i havnt been able to confirm yet. I will let you all know as soon as i do.

Under the Extension menu, and display prefrerences, you can select what you want to "see,", but if nothing has been changes from defaults, then you should be seeing something on a PRI setup.

Per Pepperz last input...by default, the side defined as PBX will see the info and the site defined as Network will see nothing. It is not a problem with 3.0 because I have networked 3.0's.

Just thought i would let you all know this was a rel 3.0 issue. I talked to tier 3 avaya yesterday and they confirmed that tier 4 is currently working on the problem.
I did upgrade actually downgrade tp rls 2.2 reprogramed and all is as it should be.

rls 3.0 ver 7
