Hey There,, i am new to E-Metrotel And i have never really set up PRI after a few decades of Telcom work,, i just inquiring on upgrading a BCM50 with 2 expansion modules 1- PRI and 1-other not sure which model yet ,i never installed it,, just wondering if there are any easy tips to convert the Bcm50 PRI programming and any other programming from 1 system to the other, they have about 22 -T7316e ,The UCx50 is the right size since the UCx20 doesn't do PRI. Thks for any tips

I had a system like yours, pri and 30 ext. Customers main goal was cost reduction and changing the call flow. Setup different Shared Call Groups and ring groups for various departments and a queue for the main number.
We dropped the pri and went with SIP trunk. They average from 5 to 15 simultaneous calls and the overall telco bill dropped from over $1300 to $120 a month.

...islandtech ,, i was not sure on the cost of pri , , i am in Canada ,,i would have to make sure the internet bandwidth is enough ,, did you use a fail save , or keep a analog trunk?? I still have a fair bit to learn on the E-metrotel ,, but it looks like a great alternative ,, i was interested several years ago ,but for some reason the supplier went avaya route. I have a question ,can i just add my own 80GB SSD To a BCM50 Controller to make it a digital gateway , or do i need E-Metrotel SSD ?? Thks
