We are setting the modem dial-in on our UCS1000 V4.6 Raid - V8 Conversant and we can get it to ring and answer properly when dialing in with ASA but we don't get a login prompt - just a blank screen. It isn't the ASA software as we manage our other Definity and Intuity equipment -no problem.

Have the CYD3 rear RMB I/O card and it is new - and have tried (2) others with the same result. The 1.7 BIOS is setup correct to factory settings for the modem setup in the Console Redirection Setting page per the V8 maintenance manual.

It is probably a simple setting or line command needed so any help is appreciated. Thanks,
 
have you gone to the CVIS_MENU option and admistered it with the correct speed etc..
 
Yes - have installed the modem software for the card - 9600 BPS default should be fine.
