UCM Password expired

Has anyone else expirenced this?

I setup 2 passwords admin1 and admin2 which has expired so I tried to log in with the admin password which the system has told me that is expired as well so I browsed to the IP address not the FQDN where it gives you the option to change password I tried to change all 3 log in's the system said unable to change password at this time please contact your system security manager.
I can't log into the CLI with any of the log in's.

can the otm still log in, that may be why your getting the can't change pwd at this time? you can reset that in pdt

You'll have to disable centralized authentication on the CS1000, then rejoin it to the security domain. You can still log into UCM using the admin, correct?

Below is the solution from Nortel's site.

Problem Resolution
If access if not successful using the login/password created in UCM or the previous admin1/admin2, the following command can be used to recover.

Note: A technician must be on site with the installation media.

pdt> resetCAUTH

Follow the prompts which include inserting the installation media for the CS. This disables the centralized authentication and enables the user to login using the admin1/admin2 that was previously configured for that database. The device should then be ready for sec domain registration.

UCM has changed many of the ways that we used to log in with as it's a kind of Radius Server.

I have a test system and it's only then that I can use the original accounts stored within the LD 17 database as I don't have any IP links used to UCM!.

Once UCM is linked up, then that is the only way, even via a serial TTY port.
