Maybe I'm missing something here...

How do you register a CS1K on UCM when its on a system manager? I have one connection on the system manager that is a TLAN connection. Do I need to route my ELAN and TLAN networks now? Did I just miss something in the configuration? Thanks in advance!

Jeff

Yes - the ELAN needs to be routable. It still needs to be it's own VLAN of course, but you need to be able to get out to the System Manager.

The PBX only has an ELAN, so yes they need to be routable. This has been a requirement since 6.0. Now if you put your System Manager in the ELAN this would not be an issue. Really no reason for System Manager to be in the TLAN.

if you are using a cpmgs card, co-res, just create a route. put your ucm IP address and route it over the elan gw. If your elan is routeable as stated above, it will work. i ran into this the first time and it took me a while to figure it out, then i remembered the install stating the default gw will use the tlan gw.

created the route and all worked fine.
