UCM Business Edition hardware requirements for presence

We have a Cisco MCS 7828 with Unity Connect. When this was purchased (before I showed up) there was considerable miscommunication as to what this box could do. Co-workers thought that they would have Unified Messaging as well as Presence. What we have is Integrated Messaging through an IMAP connection and no Presence.

Looking at the Cisco website it looks like a seperate MCS server is required if we want to deploy Cisco Presence. Does that sound correct?

That is correct. Unity and presense cannot run on the same platform.
