Ok so I have tried multiple times to sort this and I am at a complete loss! I have followed the feature programming manual and have even tried using the wizard in matworx! This is an IPS and I can get it to distribute calls and it will queue internal calls but it won't queue external calls!

I have never had a problem setting up a UCD group and having followed the feature programming manual I would have expected it to work, I even tried checking back to the IVS2 manual in case of a miss-print and also tried setting the opposite for the DID settings just in case there was an error!

Any suggestions?

Make sure Command 08-212 is set to a 1 and Command 08-227 is set to a 0.

08 212 I have tried both ways and as 227 is for transferred calls and this is a DID I didn't go there! Is the book wrong ?

check these
174>pilot 1
175>pilot 1
176>pilot 1
check incoming rt is allowed to play delay message if there is one
3574> incoming rt 0

After that i would delete the group
- take out 172 for all stations first
- then remove 170 for all stations
reset the pabx and reprogram

- also make sure there are no other exts in the pabx with 172 set to teh same group number that are not in the group

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Ok so 174, 175, and 176 were checked as I followed the Feature programming guide. Didn't check 3574 but as it was queuing for internal calls, I didn't think this would apply however I will have to check that. I did however reset the system a couple of times in case that was the problem. I will have to see about taking a download and loading into another processor, unfortunately though the company I am currently working for doesn't have a test system so I will have to borrow a processor!

if the group is corrupted or other stations are in same group without being in the loop , system reset wont fix it.
For UCD's if you are having problems its best to ensure the following

Create script to list up all exts in system
Use that as basis to list up all CM 172
Make sure no other exts are sharing your group number

Delete group , delete loop
then reset , this will clear any issues with group number ,
if in doubt change the group number when re-assigning

Unfortunately billz66 I did all of that too! Any more ideas, I am currently about to suggest they book a fee for service job with NEC so that they can get TAC involved! However I don't like admitting defeat!

My suggestion is to back up the database, C load it, then put back minimal data and the UCD data. This will determine if you have any corruptions in the database. This would be a typical NTAC troubleshooting step at this point.
If you are using a CCWX, then check CMD 6527/6528, and note that older software does not allow UCD virtuals past LEN 128 in CMD 11.

neax,

done!

Belvedere,

Agreed but as this is a hotel finding a good time would be difficult and added to that, as they aren't on maintenance, I doubt they will pay for my time! I was hoping someone would say they had had this themselves and it was an obscure command that caused it. However it is looking more and more like corruption so I doubt I will have the chance to resolver the matter!

can you post a backup?
I have a test cpu here I can load it on to have a look

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Billz66

Thanks for the offer but I didn't take a backup and I doubt I will get back there soon if I don't have a viable solution. If I get the chance though I will keep your offer in mind!
