Hello, we have a Dept. that currently utilizes UCCX and they have recently added a new PC with a 42" Monitor (mounted on the wall) to be used to view their queue status by all during the day. They have created a generic AD Account and were in hopes of being able to simply give it Supervisor priveleges in UCCX and leave it logged in.

That said, is it possible to have a user run only the Supervisor package and view their Team? Without having to create an Agent/Ext for it?

Any help getting us started with is much appreciated!

If you arent using LDAP you dont need an AD account. You do however need a UCCX user with Supervisor privelages to be able to use the Supervisor Desktop.

Hello and thank you for the response. We are using LDAP and have given the user Supervisor priveleges, however when launching the Supervisor Desktop App it is also requiring us to launch the Agent Desktop App prior. This user will not be an Agent answering calls. It is just an AD account to be used as Supervisor to view the real-time queue status. Do we need to set it us as an Agent as well? That's where we seem to be confused. Thanks again.

I forget the message off the top of my head. But no, it is not saying you need to launch Agent Desktop. It is just saying in order to take calls, you need to launch Agent Desktop. You will get that message every time you open Supervisor desktop. In short, no you just need it to have Supervisor capability of the CS queues it needs to monitor.
