Hi All

Trying to install UCA and installed server ok and synced to PBX

However when launching clients always get an initialisation error about cannot to connect to server

These machines are windows 7 64 bit

Any ideas?

did you use fqdn when loading the client and can you access the fqdn from the client

Checking the obvious perhaps....

During the UCA client install phase, when asked for the UCA server details are you putting in the configured / assigned domain name of the uca server EG ucadv4.mycompany.com. If so, make sure the name is in the local dns server otherwise the client machine wont be able to find it.

A ping to the UCA domain name from the desktop machine will confirm if the dns entry is right or not (ping ucadv4.mycompany.com)

fixed it, customer had a proxy as soon as you add the name to the accepted list all worked fine

good log to look at on the client side is the UCC.log if anyone else has similar issues

Thanks guys
