UCA SIP Softphone IPhone

Guys,

I finnaly got a couple of new licenses for our vMAS, and I'm doing some testing with the UCA SIP Softphone on an IPhone.

I have some comments which I'd like to share:

1. Can you make conferences from UCA SIP Softphone? I don't see the option. (Transfer is fine).
2. I did succesful calls from UCA SIP Softphone (as Teleworker) to internal DNs and also made calls to the outside through ISDN trunks. Audio both ways OK. Even calls to DNs (Minet) that are reached over VPNs worked great.

The problem I had was when making outside calls over a SIP Trunk. Audio from UCA Client to far end takes about 14 seconds to be heard, audio from far end to UCA client established immidiately after answering the call.

Note that we have made the same call using a BRIA softphone having no issues with audio.

3. Release notes says there is Hand-Off for UCA Client... I don't se it

There is handoff from the softphone and the webpage based access shows handoff. Would think the mobile client would have it as well but can't see it on my BB. Will have to test.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
