UCA 4 Express - use with Mitel 5312 1

Hi there,

has anyone used UCA Express with the Mitel 5312?

We're struggling to find the relevant 'pc connectivity password' and see no 'pc connectivity' options in the phone's menus (even with phones on version 5 MCD 3300 firmware)

The following Mitel Platforms and Phone Sets can be used with UC Express:
5312 and 5324 IP Phone firmware build 2.0.1.10 or greater - Minet Mode

It is not called "PC Connectivity" on the 5312, it is a menu called Task bar setup.

Go into config mode by:

Holding the volume up and down key at the same time,
release the vol up key while still holding down the vol down,
press, 2, 3, 4 then release the vol down key,
press # until Tools and Features appears,
press # until task bar setup appears,
enable this and set your password manually.

Think it only works for 5320's, 5330's and 5340's.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Should work on 5312/5324 as well.

stumbled across in some reading that it is supported on the 5312's and 5324's so you should be able to get it to work.
