Does anybody else find that when using UCA3.2 on Vapp, all the client run slower than normal. After upgrading from UCA2.0 windows based to MSL based 3.2 on VM, the clients run slowly even if they try to search in the corporate directory, it just runs with some delay of about 3-5 seconds. Any experiences with this will be much appreciated.

I have the same, and it is even worse on UCA 4.0 I recon it takes at least 30 - 40 secs to load

It cant be right. There must be some config issue or something. Did you raise a ticket with mitel ?

How many clients and how much ram is assigned , I increased the ram allocation on our VUCA4 and it seems to speed it up

As I am connecting using Teleworker mode I have been told this is normal behaviour. It is much quicker when I am in the office but it still takes longer to load than YA did.
30-40 secs is from the the time I launch UCA 4.0 until it has loaded
Corp dir is OK which loads normally.

my experience with it has been that it was slow on a number of fronts, especially with the presence (on hook, off hook and ringing stuff)

taking and placing a call will take long for instance when a call came in, the PC speaker will ring but there would be no indication that the call is there. on dialling out, it would take 5 -10 seconds to pop up with the control window

I'm going to install 4.0 to see if it's any better.

I only have about 25 clients. Its slow to pop the keypad. Slow search contacts. Just slow!!!!! Do you think this might have anything to do with the VM ? Or graphics card drivers

there is a bulletin regarding this kind of behavour caused by some virus scanners, reccomendation is to exclude from real time scanning.
I have found this has speeded up several machines but I also find the speed issue does not seem to exist on new laptops with much better specs.

Tried a new machine with nothing but the client loaded and still the same.
