UCA 3.2 and Blackberry

We can download the software to the blackberry from

When we enter the UC server IP address/hostname ; login id , password and click test connection , it
says Operation timed out.Please make sure the server hostname/Ip address is correct.

The UCA server is connected to the outside world via a Cisco Router , with port 443 forwarded to the server . are there other ports that are required? What should the hostname be ? is it the same as for the ucweb ?

UCA and UC Mobile are not the same product from my understanding. UCA is the old YA and UC Mobile is the old Mobile Extension. If you are downloading the UC Mobile client on the blackberry you need a UC Mobile installtion. Or am I forgetting something in my old age.

There is a UCA blackberry application to allow UCA client to work with Blackberry and do GPS location based dynamic status changes.

Nothing to do with UC mobile

Right I got it on my blackberry forgot that that one was from the UCA. Keep getting the UCA and the freakin UC mobile bits and peaces screwed up. Sorry

What URL do you need and are there any specific ports that need to be open between the internet and the UC server ?

It works
Would need to look in the engineering guide for the ports cause I don't know them off the top of my head.

Host name is the name defined in the uca server when you setup the MSL for the first time.
