Hie to you all.

I have just installed the uc360 endpoint for the first time. My problem is that if I use it to call another station, the stations rings but as soon as it is picked up the connection drops also vice versa.

Have programmed the uc360 as a Generic Sip on the MCD Device Type then changed to UC Endpoint but still no change.

Please assist.

Hie. Have upgraded to the latest version and the same problem exists. I might have skipped a step on the set up. Could you please state for the steps one by one both for the MCD and the unit.

Thank you.

1. Program the device on the 3300 as a generic sip device, with 3 additional multiline keys programmed with the same number as the prime number. The sip device capablities should be programmed as per the attached doc uc360_sdc.txt
2. Power up the UC360 and access the admin section ( default password admin)
3. Under date and time enter the correct time zone
4. System settings>country variant choose the correct country.
5. System settings>Sip Settings>Server address = 3300 IP
6. System settings>Sip Settings>username = device DN
7. System settings>Sip Settings>Login password =PIN
8. System settings>Sip Settings>Video codec =select H.264 (keep finger on it until enable dialogue appears
9. System settings>Camera settings> enable the camera and enter its ip address. The username and password should be programmed as root
10.

Thank you sir. That was helpful. Got it working by following the above steps.

begging for a star is unbecoming.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
