Hi

As usual the Mitel docs are very vague.
Created a website on IIS and set the homepage is c:\uc360. I have dumped the sw update in this directory a log with upgrade.xml.

on the uc360 itself i have set the http server as x.x.x.x but it can't connect.

any ideas please?
Thanks

Thanks for replying, I had tried that and received the error back from the UC360

"attempting software upgrade but cannot find file at HTTP address (
I think its the UC360 can't login to the HTTP server. The UC360 is just a SIP phone on the MCD so how do you grant this access to the HTTP server. Docs are useless.

Do you have to create a file system on the HTTP server. Another system I use you have to create a file area and upload the software to this.. so you would have system/upgrade.xml. You also have to make sure your permissions on the file are correct otherwise it won't work.

Can you reach it with a browser?
Make sure that works before anything else.

do you have a MBG ?

- thats what we use , use win scp to sftp the 2 files [Uc360_Version.zip and upgrade.xmlupgrade] to this folder
/home/e-smith/files/ibays/Primary/html

point the UC360 at the public ip for the MBG

- only drwaback i have found is that this directory is included in backups so the backup file will be 100M larger

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

So to allow permissions I am guessing the UC360 login needs to be on AD?
