Im having a problem with the collaboration aspect of UC.
When I invite certain parties to a conference - the plugin successfully installs, but then all the party sees is the UC mitel screen and waiting for connection, a timeout then occurs.
The parties affected are those behind complex firewalls.
Invites to users on standard broadband connections (no firewalls) conncet first time every time.
I asked a friend to connect from his comapneis network - it failed. They guy then moved his laptop off the network onto a standard broadband connection and it worked first time - I repeated this test across 3 sites and the result was the same.
To access UC they connect by browsing to our public IP and then we have port forwarding set.
I dont believe its our network thats the cause - surelyif it was our network all collab conferences would fail.
Mitel state all the UC uses on connectivity is port 80 and therfore so long as port 80 isint blocked on the companies in question firewall this shouldnt be a problem.
Any ideas??????
