SV9100 Firmware 5.5, yes I know it's old but my phone guy gives me crappy support. Long Story but anyway
We have about 30 PCs here all running UC Suite 5.5 on Windows 10. No apparent problems.

Boss got a new Windows 10 PC, his old PC is still around and runs UC Suite no problems using his login for his extension.

When I try to install UC Suite, it gives me an error right away, stating "NEC UC Suite setup has failed, contact support etc." No message indicating the actual problem and the setup continues, I then click 'next' a couple of times, and a window comes up stating something about "Adobe Flash is not installed" and "Data Meeting" which we don't use so ignore that and continue. Then a message about "CalltoTag.xml was not found" and the path where it should be. I click OK, then a message stating "NEC UC Suite has been successfully installed". The icon appears on the desktop as it should. I open UC Suite, type in the correct login info, I get a quick flash on the screen and nothing. It opens and then closes right away. I know this by looking at task manager. I compare the entries in Control Panel, Programs and Features. It seems NEC Middleware is missing. That is present on the working PCs so I suspect maybe something with that.

Dot NET seems to be present and up do date. Does UC Suite require an older version, is it backwards compatible? What else could I look at? TIA.

Install net 3.5 and 4.0. Try and re-install. .NET is what it is....

That did it. I suspected it and you confirmed it. It was actually just 3.5 that made the difference. Thanks a bunch.

Ya, it took a bit to figure it out. I think it was actually in the install manual. Another shining example of Microsoft "backwards" compatibility. Sad when IOS is more backwards compatible than 10 or 11....
