Hello all. I have been fighting a UC Module issue. At least I think it is a UC Module issue.
9.0.3 IP500 V2
9.0.3 UC Module
The voicemail stopped working and the OneX Portal stopped as well.
Tried rebooting the unit through web management and that didn't fix the problem.
Tried rebooting the control unit and that didn't fix the problem.
Manager showed that the IP Address of the UC Module 0.0.0.0
I was able to reach the unit by using the LAN 1 address of 192.168.1.6:7070 and I went through the ignition process. After the settings took place, it wanted to redirect me to the new address of 192.168.1.7. I clicked OK but the redirect didn't work. I could no longer communicate with that address after Ignition.
Tech support said to get another UC Module.
I took the old module back to the shop and plugged it into our demo unit. It showed up as 192.168.1.7 after the system came up. I didn't try to access VM or OneX.
I took the unit and my demo back on site. I installed the new UC module in the clients IP500V2. After reboot, the system showed no IP Address in Manager for the UC Module.
I swapped the Client's SD card to my demo unit, and tried both UC Modules and couldn't get it to show anything other than 0.0.0.0 for the ip address of the UC Module in Manager.
Pulling my hair out at this point. I put the new UC Module in the client's IP500 with my demo's SD card and everything came up as it should. Went through ignition and everything worked fine.
It seemed to me that the common denominator is the SD card at this point. Formatted and Recreated the client's SD card, reloaded the licenses, set the time server and rebooted. Placed the UC Module in the unit and it did the same damned thing. Defaulted the config and it did the same thing. AT-X on the control unit, reformat and recreate SD card, reloaded licenses reset time server, reboot nothing.
I ordered a new SD card, did a dongle swap. Going back on site tomorrow.
Guys and Gals, please help a brain fried fellow technician. Am I losing my mind? When I go on site with this new SD card and walk up to a working system that has all of the client's hardware in place running my demo unit's SD card, what is my first move. I don't want to screw this thing up if it is possible.
Please advise.
