Ive administered a few UC modules but recently our shop acquired one and I am attempting to bring it up on our IP500. I got it upgraded to the right release and ignited it. SSA says its running and operational. However, when I *17 from a desk phone I get the fast busy. I can ping it from LAN1 using SSA... can anyone point me in the direction I should be looking to actually get this thing running?

What are the settings in your System > Voicemail tab?

And in SSA the UCM status is Operational and the IP address is 192.168.42.6?

What version? And can you login to the web interface or login with the client? Might need the passwords set or reset.

Sheldoom - Yes, it shows operational in SSA and that IP address is correct.

Budbyrd - Version on the IPO and UCM is 11.0.4.3.0 build 3. I can log in with web interface and the client.

I just logged into VMP and was building a module when I noticed that... the transfer feature, when i went to send it to an extension, it doesn't show any of my systems users. also, under the start point users tab there is no info.

I found during an upgrade that you need to default the IPO security settings and verify the security setting VM password and the Preference passwords match. Everything looked good. SSA said it was working. It showed the system name in the client. But vm didn't work. Found a web socket error in Monitor. Clearing the passwords fixed it.

Thanks Budbyrd,
Defaulting the security credentials did the trick. I can reach it now.
