UC Module Full - Nonexistant nohup.out File

Hello all,

Today we experience a customer that has a Universal Crap Module and the mailbox is full.

Going to run the normal commands to delete the nohup.out files and I get "'/nohup.out': NO such file or directory

Upon further investigation, I discovered with the use of the df -h command that the sda2 file is using 22G.

Now upon even further investigation, I find the file and it says that it is 0B in size.

How can this be? Really struggling with this one.

Any and all help appreciated!!

sda2 is a partition and not a file.

Try running "du -a | sort -n -r | head -n 5" to find the top 5 directories in disc usage.

Hello @janni78

I discovered, with your command, that Xima Chronicall is storing recorded phone calls on the UC Module! Very strange and weird. On the phone with them as I type.

They claim that it was a patch that made the files be saved in the folder vmp_truncated_originals on the UC Module!

So they are installing a patch that will remove that feature to be stored somewhere else. I will update when it is hopefully fixed!

I need to be able to WinSCP into the UC Module as the root user but I am unsure how to do this.

Any help?

You can only connect with the Administrator account.

Through SSH you can sudo, or use su to become root.
