Hi All
Please I need to know how many people can call in from outside the PBX to join the internal 4 party conferencing

3 plus the internal one, making 4 is what I believe it is. Anyone else? Thanks.

Always look out for the next guy because it may be you!

system type?
when you say "internal 4 party conference" do you mean a conference of 4 people or in addition to 4 internal people?

It would help to know the system. The 3300 allows you to set the number of trunks that can be in a conference. Max conference parties is 8. Don't think you can dial into a conference, you need to be added by an internal party.

The beatings will continue until morale improves.

I think he mentioned what he wants to conference with in the subject "UC 360 Collaboration"

The UC360 is effectively a 4 line Sip conference device.
You can associate it with a number of different sip servers ( doesnt have to be a Mitel)

- if you put it on a mitel and program up a UC endpoint and give that 4 multicalls of itself it will handle 4 calls

- I have also configured it using a 4 line sip service from a carrier ( 1 number , 4 simultaneous calls) and it works the same .

- if on a MCD you only program 2 multicalls then it will only handle 2 calls at once

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
