I'm able to send a certificate and approve it on the MBG, when I run the UC client and get the following error.

Unable to connect to the Web Service endpoint: Could not connect to TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:36005.

The MBG server has two network cards, one is directly attached to the network (no firewall in the way) and the other is on the Mitel 3300 network. The UC server is on the data network but both Mitel network and Data network can see each other. I would usually say it's routing, but in this case the MBG is direct to the internet.

Stupid question: are all the networks ( Mitel and Data ) in the local networks tab of the MSL for the MBG? Is it trying to connect to a presence server or something.

Yes they are, however this has now kinda started working. Looks like it didn't like running over a 3G mobile card. Once I got home and tested it over broad band, it works.

I say kinda, as I don't apear to have any call control and it doesn't ring either incoming or outgoing. But if dial someone once they pickup I can have a conversation.

ok so you have some call control because when you dial it calls another phone. A Couple of questions if you don't mind. Do you hear ringback during the call? Also do you get a visual indication on the client when you are off hook. Also I assume a regular phone works?

This sound somewhat like an issue I encountered before. If you see no pop up window when called, if you see no change in presence when you dial then its like the issue I encountered. Just wish I could remember the solution. I think it had to do with not using the FQDN of the MBG when the client was installed and since the FQDN was not in an external DNS server, we had to edit the host file on the PC to create and entry for the MBG server.
