Hi,

Unless they are getting errors, it sounds like either a DNS problem (remote clients can't resolve the server name to an IP address for routing) or a firewalling / packet filtering problem - either at your ISP or maybe even in XP. Some ISPs do block inbound http requests for regular accounts because they regard that as a premium service. Also, XP has some basic firewalling functions builtin and you may need to configure that --> or

Hope this helps

Thanks alot for the responce! but, Im not useing any firewall at all and XP firewall is disabled, and im useing DNS2GO to point to my ip. I even tryed diffrent ports then 80 in the apache configuration file, that made it not beable to load at all , its not just the bulletin Board itself, it wont even load up the test page, just says "The page cannot be displayed", i always have the Same IP address, and my internet service provider is "Optimum Online" Do i have o set any other permissions in order for outsiders to acsess my server? I just did a standard install for apache/perl and didnt fool around with the configuration file until now.

ty again
