UAT VS Production - Deployment

Our uat and production share the same report server. How can we make deployments to UAT so that it does not affect the production reports?
For example: report1 to be deployed for UAT but not to affect production

Affecting production is pretty generic.

Any report that is run on the server will impact performance on the report server as well as the database.

We set up folders for Test, and place the reports there, as for performance, I don't know of a simple way to tune test folders to ONLY run with a low priority.
