Typing text?

JUst curious, I am a fisrt time quark user and am normally an Adobe user. How do I just type simple text?

You will need to create a text bow on your page. This is the Box on the tool bar that is normally down the left hand side with a letter A in it. Select the box and Drag the curser to make the text box. Then select the content tool, the one with the hand on it and away you go. If the tool bar is not there then press F8 and it will appear.

Or when you create a new page select Automatic Text Box, then you will be able to type to your hearts content. If you can't fix it in 20 call someone who can.

How can I get fill copy as in “lorem ipsum ascii text” for text boxes.

Get the Jabberwocky xtra from Quark (it was a 3.32 plug but it works in 4.1 too).

Is there any way to create templates in quark? I don't want to have to save as, then reset my settings.
