Typing minimizes browser window

Whenever I type in the address bar or search bar of IE 5.5 the window minimizes on every letter. I can maximize but the next typed letter minimizes again. I've uninstalled, reinstalled and downloaded all critical updates. I've done the repair IE. This helps for a little while but then it starts again. The same thing is happening in Outlook Express and ICQ. After the repair, everything works fine for a day but then it's back to minimizing again. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I can't find out the exact reason for your problem.
If I press the Windows key + M it minimizes any window.
I just tried it now. See if the windows key is getting stuck. I had some experiences where pressing any key closes all windows. To get back to normal, i will just press the windows, alt and control keys many times.
