I am working with a system that has Outlook 97 connecting to MS Exchange server. When the end user is typing e-mail occassionally the text just doesn't show up on the screen. It doesn't "catch up" either. He has to retype it. The keyboard has been changed and journaling and automatic saves have all been turned off. Does anyone know what could be causing this to happen? No one else in that company is having a problem.

Only things I can think of is:

Close Outlook and do a start-run and type in

outlook.exe /regserver (yes, there's a space before the slash)

Word might be being used as the email editor and there's macros in the normal.dot template. With both Word and Outlook closed, rename any/all files call normal.dot on the user's PC. Ditto for email.dot.

techsupportgirl@home.com
<a href=
