Type Tree Conversion Delemma ...?

Hi,

I have a field which is defined as signed numeric decimal (zoned) in my inbound data. Problem is that the data can also come in as a Text field, filled with spaces.

How can I default any text field coming in to 0, so I can continue using the field as a numeric signed field (zoned)?

Any assistance would greatly be appreciated ...

What version? Do you have the IF none or IF zero options? You also could make this a choice group.
