I am fairly new to InDesign (I have CS2 version on a PC...) and am getting frustrated with changing my type sizes. I have a document in which some of my type says it is 10 point Verdana, but looks much smaller. In the font size box at the top of my screen, it says: "10 pt(6.92)" It is too small. What size is it? 10 Point or only 6.92 point??? The type may have been scalled at one point, but HOW do I change it to be a true 10 point?

Thanks! I really need a quick fix to proceed with this project!

From the ID help menu

Using the Selection tool, select the text frame that has been scaled.
Choose Scale Text Attributes in the Transform palette menu.
Text attributes are adjusted based on the scaling percentage; scaling options in the Transform palette revert to 100% scale.

Then change to desired size.
