What type of serial cable do I use to connect a pc to the Messaging R6 module? Is it just a null modem? If not standard, what are the pinouts?

Thank you in advance!

Ben

Get a 355A adapter from Avaya, a DB25 to DB9 adapter for your PC, and a standard Cat-5 Patch Cable to connect with. Or as I usually recommend, just use your modem to call into the Auto Attendant, have it dial **3 at the AA greeting, and you will be transferred to an internal modem. That way you can set the IP address, disconnect, and program via the GUI.
