type library missing

I tried to set a dao 2.5/3.0 library reference through a module. When I tried to run the app it didn't work. I checked the reference and it siad it was missing. Where do I get it from?

Hi rry2k,

You need to install the latest version of mdac.exe this will install Microsoft DAO 3.6 object library on your machine and you will then be able to reference it.

Mdac.exe can be downloaded from Microsoft's website.

I'm running this app on a network with a 98 and 2000 operating system. Will this still work?
