Type Eastern European Characters into IE6

The OS is Win 2ooo
The browser is IE6

I have an English keyboard and I need to type in Eastern European characters into some web pages.

I know the character set to use is Windows Central European Code Page 1250 but I do not seem to be able to do it. Does anybody have any suggestions???

I also need the solution to work on Win 95/98 with IE6
