Type 7 mailbox (Octel 250/350) to function on the MM

Is there a way to convert the function of a Type 7 mailbox in the Aria Octel 250/350 to the Modular Messaging system?

The current octel is a fax server
They have an AA that you can listen to and request a fax back for information

A T-7 mailbox is a fax delivery mailbox for adding new fax documents to the system, each T-7 COS has the ability to store two fax documents.

Do you know if this function can be replicated on an Modular Messaging MSS storage system?

While there isn't a direct replacement you can use MM mailboxes for fax purposes. The only bad part about that is when the call is received, CED tone is not initially played to the call so the calling party would have to already be sending CNG tone or just press start on the fax machine (to start sending CNG tone) before MM will change from a voice call to a fax call and send CED to the calling party. You can always record a greeting that says to "press start on your fax machine to begin sending your fax now".
