Type 32 ECP Mailbox - Extended Absence Greeting

Hi,

I have an Octel 250, Aria 3.0 type 32 ECP mailbox that I need to allow to have an extended absence greeting as well as the caller's menu. I have changed the profile for the type 32 to allow for an extended absence greeting but when I test the mailbox, I am not able to get a prompt to create the message. Any ideas?

You can't have an extended absence greeting in a ECP mailbox. What is it that you are trying to do? You can record a custom help prompt that may work for you. Let me know

Yes, that is what my user wants to do. The custom help prompt might work, however, this is for our main attendant recording and I am not sure if that is what they would want to use.

you enter the mailbox and go to 3 and then 1 for greetings then listen to the options and you hear 1 for greeting and 2 or 3 for custom help prompt if you record a custom help prompt it will play after the greeting plays if they do not press a option. if you need any help let me know
