Type 2 and Type 3 errors in PageMaker

I've been getting Type 2 and Type 3 errors, where the document quits and I am no longer able to open it. I've allocated more memory to PageMaker, to no avail. Any other ideas? It's really annoying to be working on a document, then having to redo it over because it quits and you can't open it anymore.

Some things to make sure you avoid are:
Do not work over a network.
Do not cut and paste into the doc.
Keep the links intack.
Always work on the local drive with all the linked files and graphics in a folder with the doc.
