*.txt file and scroll

I have a dynamic text box that retrieves info from a text file and works 100%. The text file are quite big and I need to scroll it. I added the scrollbar component and it identified the target text field correctly. The problem I have is that it doesn't want to scroll and the scrollbar just stays blanked out. When I take the text from the *.txt file and paste it into the same text field and change the code not to look for the text file it allows scrolling. Anyone a idea to help me..Thanks..

You don't need eyes to see just the vision because there are always more ways and different answers to what we are used to...

make sure both the textfield and the scrollbar have instance names

then add to frame actions

myScrollbar.setScrollTarget("mytextField"
