How can you control the windows that open when you launch IE? A client of mine's computer persistently launches two and as she is very elderly it is confusing. I cannot find where to control it. Any ideas? Thanks!

go into tools->Internet Options-> and the Advanced tab, in here check the box that has "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"
this will prevent another window opening when your client opens a link, is this what is happening??? Jay~

No not a new window for a link. After making connection, two windows open, one with her own home page, the other with Compaq's page.
