TWO WINDOWS 2000 PROFESSIONAL INSTALLED ON ONE COMPUTER WITH NO PARTITIONS. HOW DO I FORMAT DRIVE AND END UP WITH ONE PROGRAM. COMPUTER KEEPS WANT TO REPAIR WINDOWS 2000 INSTEAD OF INSTALLING IT.

Format one partition - end up with one really empty partition..

boot pc with 2k install cd
when it gets to the bit where it asks where to install, use the delete existing partition function (select partition and press D) to remove current partition (give correct answers when it warns you about deleting partition and operating system so it IS deleted). Then user create partition (select unpartitioned space, press C) to create a new one. Choose filestore type, let it format and continue install as normal.

PS. Obviously back up any critical data before starting this!
