two way DID coming in & out on PRI

Hey Folks,

Have a customer that has 8 channels on their PRI with DID's Their fax DID they want the long distances codes taken off from their LD carrier. Circuit provider is telling me that in order for this to happen they need to send the DID Of "5201" in on channels 1 through 8 but has to go out on new channel "9" which will not have any ld restrictions on it. First question can this be done and secoundly how due I set it up so DID of "5201" also ext "5201" goes out on channel "9" of the PRI circuit.

Are you sure this is PRI, and not plain Jane T-1.
seems out of the norm to me, but willing to learn.

Yes it is a PRI circuit. Was the first one I ever did that was channelized.

I have a Customer that has 2 PRI T-1s that wanted the same thing, they use LD codes to track who makes LD calls but they did not want them on the FAX's. So had the Telco provider take them of channels 49 thru 54 assigned to line Pool B then setup FAX's to Dial line pool B code, works Great!
