Two-Way analog DID trunks on a BCM50 - Possible??

My first question would be does your LEC have those type available? Most of the time you have to go PRI.

There are no analog two-way DIDs in the BCM. The ADID module is inward only. To get two-way DIDs you need a PRI.

I haven't used 2 way DID's in 27 years, they where called DIOD's back then, I don't know if the ADID can go both ways or if the TELCO's still have DIOD trunks. Check with your Telco to see if they even have them anymore.
If they don't, then it is a moot point.

THanks for all the answers - the local telco "says" they can provide them and although the DIDs are up (incoming) they have yet to provide any outbound service. I will be surprised if they are able to make this happen, but I feel pretty confident that I cannot help even if they do!

Can you access them for outgoing, you would need to make sure your BCM is setup for outgoing.

Yes, I remember DIODs also, but the ADID card will not support them. The BCM will not allow you to access a DID/DIOD line for outgoing calls.
