Hello all,
I have been using the Alias command for a few years with Web servers in my DMZ without problem. Today I tried to setup up a WEB server on the inside and the Alias command failed. Doing research I found there are two version of the Alias command, DNS doctoring (web server inside), Destination NAT (web server outside).
1) Why did Cisco have to use both forms? Why wouldn't DNS doctoring work in both cases?
2) Are there any drawbacks for using the "sysopt noproxyarp internal_interface" command?
Thanks Bob
