I'm just trying to throw out a dart of a guess and see if it sticks.
This morning, I logged in with the wrong credentials to a Windows Server 2012 machine at work. When I realized I used the wrong login, I immediately logged back out, and then logged in with the correct login.
Some time later, I was told that 2 computers both were showing 2 instances of that same server. The problem eventually just went away on its own, but it led me to wondering.
Is it possible that logging in as 2 different users on the server could cause the server to show twice as a file server on client machines?
Thanks for any thoughts.
