I would like to create another user object that will share one email account currently associated with a different user object. Netware 5/Groupwise 5.5

Is it possible?

Thanks.

You cannot associate multiple Users with a single GroupWise Mailbox. One User object with one GroupWise Mailbox.

But, you can have multiple Users logging into a single mailbox...

1. Create a second, unique User object with no GroupWise association. When the User logs on, modify the Shortcut for GroupWise and Notify to include the following switch...

c:\novell\groupwise\grpwise.exe /@u-?

... This will cause a GroupWise login dialogue box to appear so you can have the User login to GroupWise with the original Users GroupWise account login.

Look in GroupWise HELP for all of the different startup switches.

Good Luck!

I usually give each user their own email, and create a shared email account with proxy permissions set for each user requiring access.
