SSL and Public DNS stuff is not a very strong area for me, so I'm looking for help...
Note: the domain names and IPs have been changed.
*Generic Linksys Router capable of handling ONE public IP Address
*Has available up to 5 public IP addresses.
*Client has 2 public domains - "clientdomain.com" and "businessdomain.com"
*Server/Web Server is 2003 Standard/IIS6
* is a cname resolving to 256.0.94.74
*mail.clientdomain.com is a cname resolving to 256.0.94.74
*PTR lookup for 256.0.94.74 finds mail.clientdomain.com
*Existing MS SSL Cert for OWA is set and works fine for OWA
*New GoDaddy SSL Cert for results in an error regarding reverse lookup failing and if the error is ignored, the OWA site loads, not the site.
MY QUESTION:
What do I need to do so that BOTH OWA and work with their own respective SSL certs with NO error messages?
I assume I need another IP mapped to and that would mean needing to change the router. Correct? Any workarounds or other suggestions?
