Hi there all,
I have two sites running exchange 2003 Enterprise linked to eachother as a primary/secondary over a VPN.
Both sites are on MX record priority from the outside in case the other site fails. This has happened twice in the last year and mail has queued fine at either site until the other was up again.
My question is, if one site blows up, is it possible to create the mailboxes form the dead site on the other Exchange server? I was sure that AD would know that the mailbox existed elsewhere and deny the use of email addresses again.
If this is certainly the case, how would I overcome this?
Thank you in advance
